luckily we have lots of options these days. I kind of like the big mouth opening that keeps the OEM fish look, that doesn't disrupt as much airflow to the radiator.

But yeah, we have hefty, CBI, C4, etc who have bumpers that offer more protection to the radiator area if that's what you are looking for.

The only thing with most bumpers for the 5th gen, is they are priced out of my peasant budget.


i voted no, mainly because I already have a bumper setup that I'm happy with. If I had to do it again, I would look very hard at this, and start pinching my pennies.
 
One thing that has been yet to be asked, will this be compatible with TSS for 2020+ 5th gen 4Runners? I'm not interested in this bumper as I'm going with a Heftyfab bumper but looks like you may be able to preserve the TSS radar with either no hoop or high hoop model.

Yes, we designed this bumper to cut lower for several reasons.

We wanted to integrate it with the factory bumper, leaving the whole grill. It's part of the look of the 14+.

This makes the bumper much smaller & lighter, while still giving the amount of clearance you need.

Retaining the factory grill will also allow the bumper to work with TSS on the 2020+

That's good news for those with 2020+ models and TSS. I have a 16 so it doesn't pertain to me but good that there's another option out there and you guys thought about that.
 
Actually really like the look of this one over all current offerings.

Any chance of a mid-height bull bar for those of us wanting to preserve the TRD Pro grille garnish look?

The bumper will be available with this tube work, and without tube work. We will not have full height headlight tube work, as the bumper sticks out just far enough to be the first point of contact before the headlights.
