Hello all,

Just purchased my first Toyota last week. It is a Millennium Silver 2001 SR5 4Runner. I've lurked a bit on some of the posts and I am quite impressed to the knowledge and friendliness that I have seen through your posts. I am looking forward to posting some pictures of my new ride and ideas of how I want it to look when I'm finished with it. Im still new to all the nomenclature so Im sure Im going to get some of the stuff wrong untill I'm educated. Prime example is I didnt even know how many generations of 4runners that there are. Currently I am trolling through posts trying to soak up as much as I can so I wont seem too much of a noob. Just want to say that RamonOrtiz is the man. Several of his posts are just amazing.

Last 4x4 I owned was a 2000 Nissan Frontier Crew Cab in Solar Yellow. It had 277K miles on it when I got rid of it and was falling apart. My new ride has 220K miles on it and it seems to be really solid. Must be the Toyota Quality. Look forward to being around,

Dave

Welcome Dave, I'd also love to see some pictures!

Bought an 01 myself back in July, though mine is in Imperial Jade Green.

Woo. Seems like I bought and joined at the right time. I myself picked up an 01 yesterday

pictures soon..I hope

Hoping to have some pictures up soon of my new ride. So far the problems with the truck havent been too bad. Ill post a list soon as to what I gotta do overall. Love the truck though. Never understood why people love Toyota's. Guess its one of those you have to try it to understand. Almost 20 years old and for the most part is really solid. Im thinking it was well maintained and garage kept for most of its life. Hoping to add to the life of the truck.
