New Glossy Grey TRD Wheels

Has anyone put the newer 17" TRD grey glossy wheels on a silver 4Runner?
I am wondering if that color combo would look good with two colors that are pretty close but don't 100% match.

Man, those wheels do look sharp on the silver V. I'd definitely keep them on there instead of swapping for anything else.


Decided to keep mine even though I usually go for the all black look.

To my eye they just changed the center cap to a black TRD logo instead of the red logo on the original.

I thought the finish was the biggest difference, old ones were matte and new ones have clear. Just ordered a set of the glossy ones for my black Pro. Was torn on bronze fx wheels but matte is a pita to clean.

I have the FNs and they’re pretty dark just FYI. Not silver but it will give you a good idea if you’re looking at those and not the TRD version.

I guess the big question for me is the new glossy gray wheel or the original matte gray wheel for my Limited silver 4R. What does everyone think? My Limited doesn't have any running boards.

I'd say that's a good choice. Either of the gunmetal colors seem to be a lot less common than the black ones, or maybe that's just where I live..

Shhhhh. Don’t give away the secret. Everyone in the world including Kia drivers have totally blacked out vehicles or black wheels.

Black over silver/gunmetal isn’t just classic, it’s rare AF so it stands out.

I bought the non glossy TRD wheels from Frank Motors and they are GTG.
