I just ordered the rest of my lift (Toytec coilovers for the front) and a Rola Vortex (thanks Icepuck72). Next will be the big purchase...TIRES! I will get some pics up when I get the lift finished and the Rola installed. :thumb:

Congrats man. What tires are you going to run?

Pretty are I'm gonna go with GY Dura Tecs or Wrangler Authorities. I just need to make sure they will do good in the sand.

I can't speak for the sand, but I have had mine on for 2 weeks and I love them! Very quiet on the highway at 80mph.

Im thinking duratracs too. For the extra 100 bucks i'd rather have the actual duratrac. call me paranoid...

Duratracs will not dissappoint. I've had mine in everything: rocks, mud, sand, snow, wet and dry pavement, never got stuck, never any problems.

Down here Discount quoted me $1,200 for dura tracs while WM has the Authorities for $800. Maybe I need to shop around!

Maybe look into silent armors? From what I've seen, they have stronger sidewalls (I've only seen cracks in DTs), are quieter, at the cost of only slightly less traction off road. They also have less roadnoise than the DT. I have silentarmors, and love them, even on my 2wd.

Lift should be here tomorrow and I have an appointment set with my shop to install Monday morning...cant wait! Tires may have to wait a couple of months but at least the lift will be finished! As for the Rola Vortex...I may have oopsed. I was looking last night and don't know if I will be able to get my runner in the garage with it installed. Leaving it outside is NOT an option down here in the Valley...smash and grabs or auto theft happen all the time. Guess I may have to order the lowering kit from ATO. At least there is that option!

Got the lift installed today and it looks awesome but even better it rides GREAT! It was time to retire those shocks at 133,800 miles! I will post pics tomorrow once I get the Rola Vortex installed. Oh and if anyone needs a Daystar 2.5/1.5 spacer kit, I will be listing it soon!
