new guy 95 v6 question

hey guys new to the board.. glad i found this place.. I got a really clean 95 w/ 150k and a miss for a song a while back... I put an exaust valve in it and it runs great... I havent worked on a lot of toyotas tho... The valve train noise seems a little excessive..
I was wondering if those top ends were noisy by nature? The cams and lifters looked fine when i put them in...didnt see alot of wear on any of the hardware...I was wondering if any of you gurus could point me in the right direction.. Let me know if i should live with it or if a set of cams and lifters are in order..
I was also wondering if anyone had a good vacuum diag for this thing

Yes the I think the 3.0L is noisy, always has been since we bought it new.

thanks a bunch...found the cruise stuff i was looking for there as well...those pics helped...i only got one 'mystery' line left..its the last (curved0hard line on the throttle body on the top towards the back..sorry to sound like an idiot...when i got this thing home all that was left under the hood was a short block.. The top end was in a box in the back and i wasnt the guy who tore it down...so this has been an interesting experience to say the least...i think im going to go back in and replace the lifters just for piece of mind..I think the tap is excessive....anybody had any trouble w/ lifters here?

Not that I have heard of. If taken care of 150K is ok.
Hope changing the lifters works for you, I always thought the engine was noisey though.
