Hey everyone, new T4R owner in San Diego, I have a 97 limited still in stock configuration, with 265/70r16 general grabber at2, looking to lift soon mainly for exploring/ trails. I've done some research but I'm still new to the 4runner scene, any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks

go rip around in ocotillo wells when you get the lift. Its a good test of the suspension.

welcome by the way

Look in the So-Cal section. Come out to the next few runs that are going on. A good way to meet people and have some fun also. Your truck will do fine in a stock config.

I'll tell you the easiest way to do it. Call James at the Truck Shop( By MCAS Mirimar). I had the same issue. Took it to him. Charged me 40 bucks. Would have coasted me more to buy the tools and stuff to reload the CV Axles myself. They had it fixed in a flash. I was there maybe 30 minutes if that. They are a great shop in San Diego and one of the two places I will take my 4Runner to have someone work on it.

Not sure if he is in on the weekend because this time of year is race season. He is running his custom built Toyota Pre-Runner and trophy truck's. Call and talk to them first.
