New Guy Here!!

I know everyone hates reading these introduction posts, but everytime I join a new forum I just like to introduce myself.

My name is David, 28, married with one child (2yrs old this Sep.), I'm an avid boater and motorcycler, business owner and I just absolutely love my new Runner.

I just traded my '00 Limited Runner in on a '05 SR5 Runner, charcoal with a V8. First brand new vehicle either one of us has ever had.....so we're pretty excited and me more so with it being a V8 and all.

Anyways, that's out of the way......I look forward to the wealth of knowledge that I am sure is here and also will help out where I can as well........:awais: :awais:

Lots of good people and plenty of great info here. I love my Runner and slowly getting back to exploring the outdoors and ghost towns like I used to do.

Wnderful vehicle. You'll be just amazed at the improvements over the "00" model. The new Runners were desgined and built much more like the Landcruiser than the old Tacoma trucks. Larger, more comfortable, and solid like a rock.

Yeah I have already seen the biggest improvement........towing my boat.

My other Runner "knew the boat was behind it".

My boat is 23' foot long and weighs about 5,000lbs with the trailer, my V8 Runner has no idea it is even behind it......
