Hello all.just purchased a 2020 TRD this weekend. Love it so far . No mods yet. I’m enjoying reading and learning new things . Im in no rush to impulse buy a suspension system just yet. Or put sliders on that I probably don’t need.I think part of the fun will be having my four runner modified to meet my changing needs as I go foreword. Thst being. Said. I can’t wait to get it dirty. Cheers to all the members that have built this community and data base for me to Enjoy

New here as well seeking some information on my 1988 Runner

Greetings,
I am the original owner of a 1988 4Runner with 107K miles. I ordered it and waited 3 months for it as it came from Japan. It's Medium Blue 22RE 5 speed. Delux with SR5 stripes and wheels. I have all the original paperwork.
It's currently undergoing a restoration. I am sending the dash out to be restored. I had installed a plastic dash cover on it many years ago and it cracked. This Runner will be passed on to my son who will pass it on to his.
I want to install an altimeter on the dash. I found one in ebay a while ago it is just the unit. Can someone enlighten me what I need to do to properly install the unit on the dash. I figure a hole needs drilled to accept the wiring so it illuminates. I figure I need brackets to secure it and a wiring harness.
Could someone assist me in what I need to do? Some pics would be helpful.

between what years did the body of the 4 runner change? I have 1995 with 153 miles
My 4 runner is rusty, going to be doing some bodywork on it next spring. I am looking at other 4 runners to buy pieces and parts from. I am just wondering between what years I should be looking at? Can I rely on the answer on this website? When did the body change. If anyone could give me an answer, my 4 runner and I would greatly appreciate it.
