New guy in PA

[98SR5]

Hey guys! I've been checking out the site for a few months now. I just recently got my 98 4Runner SR5 and can't be more happy with it. We got about 20" of snow today and I decided to make an unneccesary trip to get a cup of coffee. (You know how that is, haha) My runner ate it up and when I got home I figured no better time to register than now. I'm gonna try to post a few picks of my ride. I'm new to the forum thing but I hope you like the pics. Basically stock with some painted emblems and painted stock wheels. Mods to come soon!

Hey, where did you get that TRD emblem? I think it would look pretty cool on my rig.

Thanks alot!! I actually bought a silver one on ebay and painted it black and then charcoal on the white insert part....pretty easy...Thanks again for the welcoming

I gotcha...I didn't think I had seen one like that before. Have fun in the snow...I'm getting really jealous cause all we get in GA is rain!

Thanks again guys.....The rims were pretty easy too...They were pitted from salt and the clear coat was chipping away...I needed an easy fix...so I just taped and masked them...and sprayed with Dupli color wheel paint....Its not a professional job but definitely bang for the buck...Good luck if you give it a shot....Happy Holidays to everyone!!!!

Actually it was for sale for a short time.....I just took it off of autotrader....I thought I had a job that was an hour commute each way but then it fell through....Lucky for me I guess, now I can keep my truck!!

Welcome to the forum from Texas. ANother great looking 3rd gen. We got snow here in the Dallas area yesterday and last night - first time on Christmas eve since 1920 - ranged from 1" to 9" up close to Amarillo. I was hoping to get to try my runner in the snow, but only got the 1" where I live. BTW, there is no such thing as an un-necessary trip for a cup of coffee - LOL. Once again, welcome.
