I just got a 1990 4Runner with a 3.0 5spd this morning and i was wondering if anyone could give me any general advice modification ideas etc

I'm a 1st gen (84-89) and 22RE (4 Cyl) guy myself... So I have no input on the 2nd Gen or 3VZE... But Welcome! :cheers:

Where are you located? Got any pictures of your new ride? Is it a 4x4?
Wish mine was a 5 speed, the automatic is a gutless slush box if you ask me.

Welcome, you'll love your 4Runner. The 3.0 and the 5 speed is a killer combo on trails, and there is almost a endless amount of modifications you can do. How many miles do you have on your 4Runner?

Im looking to turn it into a hunting/camping rig and id like to do some off-roading with it. The main reason I bought it was to drive in the winter since i live in Springfield Missouri and my mustang dosent do real well in the snow lol. Its got 235,000 miles on it and runs pretty good right now im just trying to get it running really good.
