I have a 95 4x4 4runner. And i dont know much about tires/wheels at all. But I have 15'' rims. I have been searching through and through but i cant find where nitto makes a trail or terra grappler for a 15'' wheel. Do i need to get some new wheels maybe 16'' or 17''. I dont have the money for anything fanncy on the wheels though. Im so out of the loop on this stuff and if I go into a shop with these kind of questions i feel like i will be ripped off. There is very little tread left on my tires now so I need to make a decision soon.

There are tons of people running the NTG's on the 3rd gen and never have an issue. As far as what they offer I dont know. What size tire are you looking at running? Then maybe we can help with other suggestions in case they dont have them in your size you want.

Stock rim but are you stock height? You should be able to run a 31x10.50 stock and maybe the 32x11.50 but not sure on the 2nd Gen Runner. If you have a lift then I would still stay stock and go 31x10.50 or 33x10.50 AT. The General's are a nice tire and value. A few people are running Cooper's and the Pep Boys Definity or Dakota is a Cooper just private labeled for Pep Boys.

To put what Will is posting in perspective, there have been some reports of passenger rated NTG's cut on rocks or other objects while aired down. They are very popular and have served a lot of owners well. That is part of the reason why we hear a lot of reports on NTG's. Look at all the posts where they are being wheeled.

NTG's offer a good combination of value durability and driveability for the money.

According to Nittos website, they are not available in 15" sizes.

General AT2 uses an old BFG at tread pattern and is a decent cheap option and comes in 15" sizes.
