Picked it up last night. My 05 Magnum SXT crossed the 200k mark, and as much as I (even still) like it, its time to send it on its way before it takes a dump. The wife wanted a truck, I didn't, so we met in the middle and found the T4R. Thought briefly about the FJ until we saw the useless back seat (kids!). Initially didn't want to spend the $$ for the LTD, but after riding in one, and then finding a blue one with all the bells, and without the equally useless 3rd row, we were sold.
Actually after learning that it was a full-frame underneath, and checking out the '10 repair manual found here, *I* was sold. Solid axle? An engine with an actual clutch fan, timing CHAIN(s), and external water pump? (none of this under the timing-cover junk!) Yeah, I want that. KISS. Stuff I can actually (easily) fix when the time comes down the road. Hopefully WAAAAY down the road.
Blue/Sand, Sunroof, 4x4, sliding deck, Nav, Backup Camera (she wanted it :shrug
.... I'm liking it so far. :thumb3: Hopefully I get as much out of it as I did the Magnum, and then some!
I'd post pix but for now it looks the same as every other stock blue ltd I've seen here!
