New guy with an old 4th Gen

Well, it's not official yet. I have a sales contract on this 03 SR5 V6, but it ain't in my driveway yet. Tomorrow or the next day. 100k on the clock and pretty straight looking. I didn't have it inspected but drove it around a good bit. Nothing to be afraid of right?

I can't wait to go see the rest of Colorado in this perfect Colorado car.

Looks pretty clean! Just double- check the 4WD system actuators. Cycle it through all of the settings... H4, H4-locked, L4, and L4-locked, and back to H2. It should take just a few seconds to engage each, but if it seems to take longer, try cycling back and forth as it may be an indication that the actuators weren't exercised regularly. If you can get everything to engage (even if it seemed a little reluctant), you should be ok because regular cycling will help to keep them working.

It is pretty clean, with a clean history. Part of my drive included cycling it through the driveline modes. It seemed smooth as could be. Smoother than me given that I didn't know what I was doing. I've been a car guy for the first 40 years of my life but have only owned a couple of 4x4s that rarely left the pavement.

Retiring to Colorado means it's time to go exploring. :lookout:
