When Toyota made my '87 4Runner I am convinced that some supplier had RED deeply discounted.

:lmao: Yup my neighbor had 2, both had red interior. Guess that was the style back then. My 89 pick-up was a shade of baby blue w/ grey seat.:shrug:

Red must be an American market thing. In Australia I believe they were only offered in grey and blue. Unfortunately red is not a color that reacts to sun light very well. Good argument for deeply tinted windows.
