hey guys new to the forums. i have a 1986 4runner
i got it as birthday present from my parents and it was in horrible condition.
so far iv fixed it up pretty well. iv stripped the hole interior and re furnished it. it also has a new paint job. right now im trying to get an external roll cage for it but there are very hard to find for me.
there is also a problem with the tail gate and it wont open. dont know how to fix it.

Welcome to the forum. External cages are usually hand built by off road shops and people who know what they are doing. A few people make internal cages. (use google)

Your truck looks pretty stock....why are you looking for an exo?

As for the gate.. Does the back window go down?

I think you have a lot of reading and research to do.

im looking for an exo just because i like the way it looks. and the back window does go down just fine. im only 16 so i litterally no nothing about vechiles. and outside is mostly stock, interior is all custom made (by me) just looking for accesorys now such as getting it lifted and such.
