New Handmade Frontal and Rear Bumpers + 3 Skid Plates

+1 .... For as amazing as the front bumper is, there are some interesting choices on the rear... it's great craftsmanship, but I'm not understanding the line going up to the wheel either. the rear profile not following the hatch either looks a little off. I'm sure there is a reason and we'd love to find out! :clap2:

The reason is that the chasis is very low, thats the lowest I can go without modifying it, and I wouldn't dare cutting it... Honestly it was not my idea to cut the bumper in that direction, but I thought it looked pretty cool once the guys handed it to me...

I guess I would have gone with a more traditional line... i.e. a bit lower near the wheel and then up towards the rear bumper... although... the pictures may not do this configuration justice.

Still an impressive build either way. Keep it up!

Edit: If you decide to alter the line towards the wheel, using a perforated silver accent piece like the bottom of the front bumper may be cool. Ties in with the chrome along the side and the silver up front. Angle it in a little towards the inside of the truck!?!?

I would change some things slightly but overall it's super impressive and the speed is in which he did it is insane - huge props for a great looking set of bumpers!!!:cheers:

Would love too if the OP were manufacturing them. I would have to find out if I am able to import from Peru and what the duties, and bond fees are.

If this guy would build, I would buy them, hands down the coolest bumpers ever made for a 5th gen.

I put the hole in the center because I didnt wanted to reduce the intake of cold air to the radiator...

It's been said before, but these bumpers are simply amazing. If there were a way for us to get them here in the United States there are plenty if us that would be willing. For me it would have to be able to accept a winch on the front bumper.


So here is the plan, you buy them for $535 each and sell them to us for $995 each and we are all happy...we'll except figuring out how to get them from Peru to my house....lol.

The winch can be installed with no problem, it might be a little longer on the front, but I bet it would look amazing.

Accoding to the guy that installed it the airbags will work, as a matter of fact, he has pictures of a frontal colition were the airbags worked as they were supposed to...
