New Headlights: Nighthawks

I want to upgrade my stock headlight bulbs but dont think I want to go with HIDS. I have heard good things about the nighthawks but want to know if the platinum nighthawks are that much better than the standard ones in everyones' opinion

everyone says good things about SilverStars and $PIAA$. I've never heard of Nighthawks.

I have piaa's bulbs and I love them! Not as bright as hid's but bright enuf!

I've used Sylvania Silverstars in a handful of vehicles and they were always noticeably better than OEM. I've never heard of Nighthawks either.

Nighthawks are made by GE and my wife has some. There is a color chart on amazon that shows they will have a white light but they absolutely don't. Maybe try the sport or platinum if you're looking for white light.

Just remember that the "whiter" the light spectrum, the less actual light emitted in lumina.

Nighthawks have always got bad reviews for dying very quickly from what I've seen. I'd stick with Silverstars or PIAA's

If you're going to slap in HIDs do it right and retro fit projectors in. HIDs do not belong in stock housing. There's lots of write-ups on this forum. I've heard good things about the Sylvania SS and Sylvania in general. I had a pair of GE's, I don't remember which kind but they were short lived.
