I purchased a Kenwood Excelon DMX905S and in trying to figure out what type of OBD data I can get in my 2016 SR5. I know there is a Crux harness that can be used to maintain steering wheel controls and I am trying to see what advantages the maestro has over the Crux. I browed the idata website but was unable to figure out anything specific to my vehicle. Thank you in advance.

I have the Kenwood DNX9xx paired with maestro idata link In my 2013 Mustang. They work well with each other. Are you asking what engine data can be read? FYI OBD reading and steering wheel controls have nothing do do with each other.

i'd go for idatalink all day, since its customize-able with there software and firmware.
