New Here 03 V8 in VA

I have been an avid wheeler for over a decade now and have just purchased a 03 4runner with the V8. I come from more of a Rover/Jeep back ground but also had a 100 Landcruiser for a while. I look forward to learning about my new ride with help of this great resource. I hope I can be a asset as well!!

First plans are for suspension lift. Looking at the Sway away Kit right now. There is a Sway Away dealer here local to me. Any thoughts?? My runner will be a daily driver and mild to moderate wheeler. I will fab my own bumpers and sliders.

Made my first mods today!! I powered up my 12volt outlets full time today!! Easy Mod!! In the process I found and removed some sort of aftermarket security system. Since I did not get any aftermarket remotes with the 4runner I decided it was best just to remove it.

I hope to order my Suspension kit this week. leaning hard toward the Sway-away kit.
