New here, but I like it a lot

I'e been poking around the forum for a couple weeks and decided to finally create an account.
I own a 2013 4Runner, SR5 2wd. I bought it as a grocery getter for my wife and growing family, I was impressed with the quality of the Toyota and the fact that it was one of few "real" trucks left out there in the mid size catagory.
I would really like to find a 1st gen 4runner to wrench on and restore but they seem to be extremly rare here, in Louisiana. In the past, I owned a few diffrent 4x4's but they were all full size American made trucks, mostly GM.
Anyway, just thought I'd introduce myself. Looking forward to getting to know some of you here.

Welcome to T4R.ORG! To find a decent 1st Gen, u may have to come out West. A lot of our clean 1st Gens seem to be leaving the state! :suspicious:

Thanks for the welcome. I like how actie this forum is. I was on a GM truck forum years ago that had a lot of members and then just died in a few years time.
I may well need to look outisde Louisiana for a 1st Gen. It does look like there are some as close as Texas, but only a few in the deep south. Oh, well...I'll hunt one down at sone point
