Hey guys and gals. New on this forum, though I've been creeping for a while. Been a yota guy forever. Dad has a 4th gen, wife has a matrix, and I just sold my Xrunner. The x wasn't fitting the bill anymore. I needed comfortable seating for 4, 4x4, and a camping rig. The x was a great truck and I already miss the excellent handling. So this brings me to my 1999 Limited. I have always been very partial to the 3rd gen. The 4th gen is just a bit to "smart" for its own good.
I have already put on some Cornfed spacers and Addicted offroad bumpers. I have a few more add ons coming. So far have 600 miles on the spacers since being aligned and love it.
My entire vision of this truck is adventure vehicle/ daily driver. I welcome all opinions. This is not going to be a rock crawler, long travel truck, king of the hammers competitor, or anything in between. Just a good rocky road, beach cruiser, surf board carrying, dirt bike hauling, truck.
