Hey guys i'm looking to buy this beast friday. Chassis has 300k+ but he has paperwork to prove engine is 110k.

Anything I should look out for?

Also do you feel as if this is a fair price?

Also I am aware of the Headgasket deal, and I'll be sure to look for paperwork on it and also get a compression check

Nice truck! Yeah [MENTION=88580]dirty dangler[/MENTION] might be able to help ya on that. It looks familiar, he might have a build thread floating around on a different forum.
 
He's got more than $6000 in parts and tires there, so on that level it's a good deal. The Total Chaos front suspension alone is several thousand dollars. If it's in good shape and you like it, go for it.

I don't have a clue as to pricing a vehicle like this. Mine is a Mall Crawler. But if you do get it I can't wait to see pics of what you do with/to it!

Well arn't you lucky that my hobbies include cinematography and photography... And I live near pismo...
 
Looks like a decent deal. If you buy it throw on a pair of CARB legal headers. That will giver the runner a bit more pep and help with any future headgasket issues.
 
The person that was going to buy my car fell through, so I am looking for another buyer. The sooner I sell my car the sooner I get the beast!

Also, chassis has 350k on it... even though engine has 110k, What about the transfer case, is it chain driven? should I worry about this being loose?
