Installed the Eibach 620lb springs as well as 5100s up front set at 0. Wanted to try and get rid of the soft, boat-like handling on highways. Pretty happy with the results so far.
Looks nose up with my bike on there, so I think I'll likely add 2 of the 10mm OME trim spacers. The numbers are pretty close to level at the wheel well with my bike rack on, but no bike. Measured using a plumb bob and straightedge:
FD - 36.375 (3/8)
FP - 36.75 (6/8)
RD - 36.5 (4/8)
RP - 36.875 (7/8)
Removing the rack brings up the rear 1/8 to 3/16".
So 55lbs over the back is good for about 3mm of sag.
Really wish there was a 1" coil for the rear that had a slightly higher spring rate.

Well, it's not an electricians wet dream, but after moving the USB port from the center console to the glovebox, I still didn't have a setup like I wanted. So, a 6' Lightning cable, a drill, a few zip ties, and a few grommets later, I've got an iPhone hook up that charges and allows access to the music on my phone. No more relying on Bluetooth. Best of all, it tucks away nicely.

Finished up the homemade/ rigged up interior rack and the wife's bike fits pretty well.
Hi Dustin,
I saw the above photo in the Barcelona Red thread, and wanted to ask about the homemade rack. I saw that you have the Yakima crossbars in a chunk of 2X8 or similar. Do you have the base attached to the factory tie-downs somehow, or just the whole assembly setting there loose?
I was thinking of screwing a couple of fork mounts down to a 2X2s across the rear, and tie them to the factory tie-downs with some j-hooks, but I like what you've done much better!
Currently, the bikes get stuck on a rack mounted to the top of my Yakima basket on my slightly lifted Outback. It's a ways up there, and will be even higher once my 4Runner arrives, so I like the inside upright mount idea.

it's just sitting there. they blocks of wood are cut to sit in the wells where the tie downs are. i don't know that it adds any stability, but it keeps the front end of the bike lower just a touch, which allows it to fit. that's my wife's bike, a 53, with an 87cm saddle height, from the bottom of the pedal stroke, and it just barely fits in. I drove around with it back there for a few days and nothing ever fell over and even shifted. I'm pretty happy with how it worked out. I had just gotten those racks and really didn't want to get rid of them before even using them, so I had to figure out some way to make it work.
I was trying to avoid the roof for wife's sake. I have a hitch rack that's used 99% of the time, but wanted to be able to carry more bikes if needed.
