that looks really good! im actually consitering getting these too, did you disable your DRL's? Thats the only thing holding me back from getting them i really dont want to be cutting wires or keeping the e brake on.

ya it says he disabled them in his sig but im not even sure if u can run them without or at least u would want to... Its actually not that bad to just cut the wire. U can always re-wire it if u end up wanting the DRL.

ah i see!! haha thanks for pointing that out, Yeah im trying modivate myself to do it, cause it looks bad ass and im pretty sure they put out way better light then the stock bulbs. hmmmm...

i just gotta think of another DRL idea. It would be nice if i could re-wire it to some other lights... sounds kinda complicated

ive always wanted to rewire them to my turning sig lights in my ARB...like the 4th gen 4runners running lights . . .

-and...how difficult is the install for the HID's? i mean, i iknow i can do it, im just wondering how much of a Pain in the rear it is....

the installation of HIDs in factory housing take only about 30 min... i did mine in about 20 and i was taking my time so for a first time guy who doesnt know too much about them, can probably figure it out within 30min-1hour.

where do yall mount the ballasts?

i just put it in the engine bay almost right behind the headlights, using the sticky tape that came with it. I might end up re-mounting it but they seem to be fine where they are... just make sure where ever u put them, leave some slack.

Wow! Those look good. What did a set run you?

Depends if u want the slim ballast or the regular size ones... but they are about $60 shipped, though it depends on where u live. They are $45 for the h4 bulb with hi/lo with the standard apexcone raptor ballasts.

Yeah I wanted to find some kind of LED i could retrofit in the stock housing or somethin... it would be pretty sweeeeet!
