Just put my HID's in. I LOVE THEM!!! (sorry for the blurry pics, my camera sucks) These are 6000K if anyone wants to know

An HID kit will probably be the mod I do after I get my lift installed (if it ever gets here). How hard was the install, and about how long did it take?

Looks great by the way.
 
oh kenny, btw have you cover yours with no problem? cuz i think another member pm'ed me while back ago and said he had a tough time to bend the squirrel finders...

no problem, actually i can bring my spare projector with me on sunday, when you come in, i can kinda show you an actual thing.... you will have a better idea of it.... btw, i am going to sell my complete tsx retro'd housing soon too.... LOL

I got them from this dealer from this Honda forum that I am on
the brand is Xentech. I got them for a pretty good deal, fully waterproof and a good quality product

install was easy. plug and play. took me longer than it should have, just becuase i was looking for a place to mount the ballasts and to get the wires right. But if I was to do it again for my foglights i could get it done in less than a hour. Im planning on getting the 3000K yellow HID's for my foglights

will not make your light brighter but definitely eliminate the glares which will blind the on coming traffic or the vehicle in front of you... that is for safety issue

Here's a shot of my 8k HID's, I kind of wish they had more of a blueish tint to them like my luminics pure blue halogens..

May I ask why you are getting rid of your TSX retros so soon? Not enough light emittance? haha

Are the directions that come with the HID kits easy to follow for someone who isn't a pro at working on vehicles?

Depending on the kit. Some kits come with a harness that will require you to run wires directly to the positive battery terminal. Other kits like mine are pretty much plug n play, using the OEM headlight plugs. You'll just need to find your own mounting locations for the ballasts (cinch if your using zip ties).
