Greetings from the Atlanta Metro area. This is a great forum and I spend more time that I likely should just reading.
Got my new 5th Gen about a month ago and I'm really liking it. Blizzard Pearl SR5, tan/saddle leather, 2 rows of seats, sliding cargo deck and running boards. I have found the Bluetooth to work fine under all conditions.
A few learning so far - if you have a new 5th Gen, check the differential(s). Mine was just shy of a quart low when I checked it at about 350 miles. Suggest using a 6 point 15/16 inch short socket with a breaker bar on the plugs. 12 point tends to slip and begin the rounding process. I flipped the crush washer and torqued to a little over 30 ft-lbs and no leaks.
Practice on lowering the spare. Toyota should have put a guide tube on this. Also check the spare pressure - full size spare calls for 32 psi, mine had almost 65.
I have had some instances of "shift lag/harsh shift" as reported on this forum and will address that with the dealer although mine has a VIN high enough that it should already have the fix TSB update.
