New in-dash dvd player

I am wanting to install a Kenwood DDX-6019 in-dash dvd player in my 2004 4runner SE. I have the 10 speaker JBL system w/out NAV. Crutchfield is saying that I will have to splice into my factory wires, and that I will lose the capability of my JBL system (not able to use all speakers). I guess I have a couple of questions.

1) Is there any way that I am able to install this w/out losing my speakers? What adapters will I need if any?

2) Where can I find the trim that goes around the stock 6-disc changer that I currently have? I know that with this new unit, there will be about 1/2 inch of space left around the outside of it. I need to find the trim that goes around the stock unit that does NOT have a 6-disc changer.

Any help at all would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

I'm guessing you are referring to a Dash kit?

And as far as the JBL goes, Best Kits claims you must relocate the headunit to make this install possible to utilize the JBL. Other than that at this point you'd have to add an amp.

I think the dash kit your looking for is the Metra 958202... Got mine at Crutchfield for $13.

I don't know about the JBL head unit. There are people in the forum who have wired a new head unit into the factory amplifier. Shouldn't be to hard to find. I think I remember reading that you can take your RCA out on your new head-unit and pipe it into the factory amplifier... but you have to splice-in.

Interface

You need the Metra TYTO-01 it will let you interface an aftermarket radio with the factory JBL amp. I dont know of anyone that has tried it yet.

I am thinking of the same head unit, but most likely the P-Nav package with the navigation.

Anyone know that RMS power of the factory JBL amp?

After looking up this dash kit. I have noticed it states it excludes the limited. Does anyone know why? And does anyone know what the part number would then be for the 2003 limited?
