I was browsing information on the web regarding Hydrogen Powered vehicles since Honda is coming out with their own version and I found this web site

Basically what this company has done is to suplement the existing dyno fuel (diesel/gasoline/LP Gas/Ethanol, etc...) with a bit of hydrogen. The Problem for years has been to figure out a way for the engine to produce Hydrogen and this company has done it. All you have to do is add 1 gallon of "distilled water" to the Hydropack and you've got 5000 miles worth of Hydrogen.
The beauty of this is that it cut emmisions on diesel burning vehicles in a exagerated amount as well as it increases MPG's and Horse Power.
Currently the the Hydropack is somewhat bulky, but I can't wait for them to ask me if I could use my 4runner as the prototype to test their product ;-)
Check out their website and read the FAQ's, it is interesting and it will make you feel glad that there is hope to retrofit cars like our in the future to meet more strickt EPA regulations.

Unlike engine conversions for propane or liquid natural gas (LNG), no engine modifications are required. The only change to the engine is an insertion point into the air intake prior to the engine turbo.

The HPP will work with any internal combustion engine regardless of the type of fossil fuel being used. This includes fuels with high levels of bio-fuels.

Testing and usage has shown that the HPP can increase fuel economy. Many different factors can change the fuel economy of an engine. We anticipate fuel savings of 8% to 20% after the introduction of an HPP to an engine. With the current price of fuel, an HPP unit can pay for itself in approximately six to twelve months.
