New LBJ boot ripped

Just over a year ago I made the switch from the 4runner LBJ to the Taco setup. I was under the truck the other day and noticed a ripped boot. Has anyone else experienced this? I can't imagine the rubber went bad already. I'm guessing I need to adjust my LR UCA's. if anyone has any other suggestions please give me some input.

First thing was your new LBJ OEM? And second are you lifted?

From other that I've seen do the taco LBJ haven't seen anyone mention a ripped boot nor any adjustments to the UCA.
