You should definately let elton tell you what to do with your truck. after all, he makes the payments right?

Elton, his truck looks 25 times better than yours. Get over it.

LINY, I just ordered the same spacers. How hard were they to put on?

the rears werent bad...pop off the sway bar, that makes it alot easier...i also had a lift and all shop tools to my disposal (im a tech at toyota dealer) so that made it alot easier for me. the fronts were a pain in the bitch, especially compressing the spring enought to fit the spacer between the spring and the top.

it's well worth it though...looks good, drives good...i don't climb mountains...just the occasional beach run, so spacers are fine for my application

BTW:

I'm 5'6" so the running boards are staying (i actualy use them now)

and my tires are brand new, they have like 6000 miles on them. so i have alot of time to think of what size im getting now...i dont know if i should go 32x11.5 or 33x12.5

I'm REALLY interested in lifting mine, where'd you get your spacers, and is it just the camera angle or did it lift the rear a little more than the front, and hell i'm right at 6feet tall and I'm keeping my running boards too, I like um

i got these spacers on ebay actually...because a kit that was normally 200 dollars i got for 64...so it was no contest...take a look on there, you'll be surprised at how low the prices are

and yes the rear is considerably higher than the front...but my truck was always about an inch higher in the back, even with all factory specs...the lift just accented it...lol

Truck lookw fine and I also like the runningboards, keeps the crud off the side of your truck and makes washing the roof easier..

So, I think I recognize that bridge but it's been awhile, would that be the third bridge going over to Jones Beach? I lived in Seaford during the 60's-(man do I feel old saying that)...

i'm running a 97 with stock suspension and mine still looks taller than that. sorry if that came out rude but what i'm saying is i'll see what seems like the same model 4r but some of them sit differently. lets see a pic of your ride before and after maybe that will paint me a picture

by the way, if i don't plan on doing any hardcore wheeling before i do the complete suspension lift is there any problems with doing say a 2.5 spacer lift with a 2" rb bl?

The spacer and body lifts will be fine together. May I ask why you're considering a body lift? Most that have done them will agree that it's the suspension lift that works best.

to be honest i'm molding my 4r to be like neliconcept's front shot at night in some parking lot. if i recall correctly he had a 3" suspension with the two inch bl and i think it looks badass. since i am very broke at times i'll be doing the coil spacer first but wait for the body lift until i have the fundage for the proper 285s. does anyone have bfg a/t's on stock 16s?

Yo

I am new to the board. I just bought a 2001 Sport with 47,000 m. I don't have the most experience with the 4runners, but I plan on doing a litle lift in the Spring when I have more cash. I would love to pick your brain when the time comes. You can tell by my name I am not too far away from you. I am looking to get out on the beach too. I am a little worried that just using the springs will change the camber and make the wheels pinch. Any thoughts anyone?

yeahh i dont know whats wrong with it...i've cleaned it countless number of times but i cant get those black spots off

get a scope cleaning kit from like a hunting store and use a micro fiber cloth, that may do the trick

nice truck bro

thanks everyone for the props. i have a few more toys added to her, i'll add some more pics when i clean her up, or dirty her up....but righ now it's in that in-between stage where its too clean to be cool-dirty, but too dirty to be clean, so it just looks bad (did that make any sense??)
