I finally decided to post pics of my 4runner with the light bar installed. I have a 2003 so i had to cut out the grill but thanks to kakuno i got it installed with no problems! This thing is bright and in the perfect location!

Still need to paint the new grill but i will be doing that in the next few weeks.

Looks awesome! Which bar did you use? I've thought pretty hard about doing this too. Love the location!

It's actually a Cree from a local dealer. It's a super easy install. The longest part was cutting and measuring everything

Looks good. glad to hear it went well for you. I was a little scared to start cutting things up as well but it's actually a pretty easy install once you get into it.

i agree its a great location... except for the license plate being in the way. in Iowa you have to have front plates. i've been considering having one sit on top of the front bumper or having it at the top of the windshield.

You could get a small single row (20") for the top of the bumper like I am currently running:

Thanks! Now im wanting a 50 or 40in on the roof lol

If you get to it soon, lemme know how you mount it. I have a 41in double row bar sitting in my garage. I want to mount it on my roof but haven't had the time and am not really sure how I wanna do it. I've seen it done through the factory roof rack attachments and that's the way I'm wanting to.

It looks great, though! How did you wire it? Do you have a switch in the cab?
