Hey everyone

I've been lurking here for a couple of weeks now.

I'm picking up my '07 4Runner tonight and it has an aftermarket stereo that I don't like.

I want to put an OEM unit back in. Can anyone tell me which ones (from what models and what years) I can put back in?

As far as I know it originally had the standard stereo. I'd be happy with any OEM radio/CD player that will plug and play.

Do a search for the Scion head unit -- much better than the stock 4Runner head unit, plug and play, and you can get one for very little cash.

That is very true. You probably can't beat the Scion HU for the money.

I looked on eBay and there's a bunch of Scion haed units.

Is there a particular year Scion that I need?

What about the newer ones ('07-'08)?
