New Member - 2010 4Runner - Looking to Mod.

Hello Everyone,

Just got a new 4Runner last week. Have been a long time Toyota truck owner - Tacoma and then Tundra.

Thinking about moving from the stock 20's to 17 inch rims so I can fit some BFG All Terrains and possibly even a small lift a accommodate slightly larger tires. ( no bigger than 33's )

Curious about speedometer adjustment for the larger diameter tires.

Also am planning on de-badging and de-chroming.
Had to use the horn the other day.....so I am now looking at the dual horn setup as this new horn is completely inadequate/weak...

Looking forward to being part of this 4Runner community!

Speedometer correction - Toyota 120 Platforms Forum

This was done on a 4th generation and it's probably something similar for the 5th.

Check the mods/DIV sticky in the 5th gen subforum for the Fiam horn replacement.

Congrats and Welcome to the forum.:hello:
One guy has a 3/2 lift on a SR5 with 33's and he had some minor rubbing. Several of us running 275/70/17 BFG's which comes out to a 32.4 with no rubbing. Also there is a thread in the 5th section for swapping 20's for 17's and alot of us have changed out the horns and there is a thread for that.
