Hey guys just bought my first ever 00 4runner and im pretty stoked about it any tips or tricks i should do?

J/K.. welcome to the boards. All you need to do is search and read - there are plenty of tips and mods you can do to your 3rd gen!

thank you and yea i've been reading up on not sad i found out today i have a cracked valve cover but a bolt and after researching it seems to be a common problem so since its winter and i dont have the time to really take it apart am i ok with just driving it? it does leak a some oil from that could i use one of them silicone glue on it for a quick fix until it warms up and there is a knock sensor i gotta figure out to so was gonna do both at the same time

Boy, you put a lot on a person after one post. LOL!

If it was my rig and I started spewing oil from the valve cover, I would NOT silicone or glue it in place. Take an hour and do the job properly. Valve cover gaskets are cheap and super easy to change out. Your 5VZFE will thank you for many more years, if you take care of it.
