New member to the forum, been on for a little bit looking at everyones build threads so it motivated me to post some pics of my third gen beauty!
It is a 99 Limited, grandparents bought it brand new for $37,000 and handed it on down right at 150k miles. Been about 4 years since I have had it and now it has 228k miles. *Knock on wood* have never had any major issues with it.
Performance and suspension upgrades are slowly coming when funding comes through, but it sure does look nice!
What I have done to it so far:
16" MB Wheels with Prodigy tires
5% Limo tint
Roof rack with 22" light bar attached
Alpine bluetooth CD head unit
15" SSA XCON with Memphis 1000.1 and 2 C&D batteries with 0 gauge wire throughout the car.
Volt meter with toggle switches for an amp shut off and volt meter shut off
Black emblems, black mirrors, black grill, black fuel tank cover
It is not much for now but as everyone knows, its always a work in progress.

First stock picture of the 4runner next to my buddy's GT500

First things first, limo tint was a must.

The trailer that I was hauling about every weekend. Was very easy to tow and kept at about 15-16 mpg fully loaded

Picture of my brothers Jeep we were doing work on that day, with my baby in the background waiting to get upgraded

Bought this 2007 Altima, then realized I couldn't get rid of my 4Runner so I sold the Altima and kept my 4Runner!

The car in the current state except for the gas tank I painted black
