Edit, no reason for LTX if you're looking for STTs... I think you may get a little rub with really aggressive tires an inch over stock size, but nothing too bad, maybe just at full lock or full stuff

Also, I think the 2" front leveling spacer would really help your needs. I mean you could also do a 1/2" BL but that's a pain to install but it would help with the rubbing issues. SOmetimes when you push the tire away from the hub it actually does cause more rubbing. You're mot going to lose any handling with the lift, especially with wheel spacers. I actually like the way my truck drives better now with the lift and spacers than it did stock. I want stiffer springs too :becky:

WOW thanks for the link about the fender liner, somehow I havn't seen that yet! Really simplifies the process and gives GREAT info about Spidertraxx spacers!!!

I appreciate the advice regarding the lift kit...I do want to keep it as subtle and moderate as possible but I do want a more aggressive wheel/tire package, so your suggestion for a 2" front lift is good (wouldn't I need to jack the rear up 1" then to even out? I don't like the raked look in either direction).

I just recently sold my 2011 e90 M3 that I did European Delivery on. I miss that car dearly. In fact miss it so much that I will be doing another European Delivery on the next M3.

I don't understand your LTX comment.

I thought LTX signified a tire was for a 'Light Truck', so even the Cooper ST Maxx's were called LTX's. Are you saying that's not the case?

I just have my 2009 4runner that is visible in my sig.

I like to go camping and explore the outdoors so having a capable off road/adventure rig is important to me. As I like to explore many areas that require having 4wd.

But the other side of move loves motorsports, etc.

I will almost certain do an European Delivery when the next M3 comes out. The question is whether to wait for the LCI competition package to come out or not!

Are you a member of m3post.com? Definitely do the European Delivery. It is 100% worth it, I would not buy an M3 any other way. Going to the Nurburgring, porsche musem, etc was awesome during my trip!

Amsoil is one of a handful of known, respected, and proven "True Synthetic" oils (base stock 4 or 6) and they also are the only manufacturer to offer a WS fluid (not licensed by Toyota, so its not "offical" but chemically it is the same and/or superior)

I actually run the Amsoil Signature Synthetic 5w-30 in my 2UZ-FE (says its good for 25k under normal driving, guaranteed! 15k under severe conditions) I am not running their WS because I am still under warranty, but many members have had good results with it.

265/70 should be okay, but every tire and every truck are a little different, because the suspension in your truck will sag slightly differently than everyone else's. So hard to say for sure, if it does rub I would expect it to be minor. I started with the Daystar Budget Boost Leveling kit, and I liked it, you couldn't tell a difference in ride handling, felt exactly the same. That is the great thing about a spacer lift. Though a few months later I decided I wanted to go bigger and did the rest of the Daystar lift, still almost no difference from stock. The biggest difference came from the bigger and heavier tires. Now I want a full suspension lift, so I'm saving up some money to get the Toytech Ultimate 3" lift, moral of the story, if you think you might want to eventually go for the full lift, its probably worth it to just do it right of the bat, instead of doing 3 separate installs like I have done.

NOt at all, i was talking about selling you my michellin LTX tires which are nothing like the others you listed so I assumed no interested
