Hey guys,

New member here from Phoenix, AZ. I don't yet have a 4Runner, but I have decided to purchase a new one next summer. A quick background, my first car was a 2002 Tundra which I put 207,000 miles on, and then traded in on my 2013 Tundra. I still have the 13, but for a number of reasons, I want to switch to a 4Runner. The 5.7L V8 is awesome, but I don't have a need for that much engine, let alone the MPG. I never tow anything, and the more I think about it the more I want to go with the Runner. I just thought I would jump in here and see what I can learn, what pitfalls to avoid...etc. I have been checking out the mods list, and I can't wait to get my hands on one and start customizing.

Geoff

I really like them a lot. Personally, I think they look pretty sharp with the dark gray. I did a lot of research before buying them and for the price they were hard to beat. Very glad I went with them. I have a feeling I'm going to end up with Methods on my next project.

Oh I will. I'd do it now as my tundra is paid off but I don't graduate until next summer. For the time being, it makes sense to not take on a car payment. So I'll wait and save and then pick it up next year. Seriously can't wait though. I've been thinking of getting an SUV for years and the 4Runner is easily the most badass. Not to mention Toyota product so I know it'll last.

I've been wanting a 4x4 SUV since I was 17... now, almost 30 years later, I finally have one! Good luck on the search and welcome from Chandler!
