Just wanted to say Howdy from Northern Harford County Md. Love the 4Runner and will likely be the only 4WD vehicle I ever own.

Put the Hunter Bull Bar on this weekend. Installed the Thule Roof Basket a couple weeks ago. Had the tires ordered before the truck paperwork was finalized. LOL.

I also am I new member from MD; just got a '14 TE a couple weeks ago.

Here are some pics of my truck, I've only just begun but did black out the wheels and emblems

Welcome! Truck Looks Great! Love the wheels. Been dying to see them done. How many coats is that of the plasti-dip.....?

I love the 4Runner. I came from a 2012 TRD Tundra. Loved that too. Just don't need to tow as much anymore.

Thanks! It was about 2 cans per wheel, I did 4 coats of matte black and 2 coats of glossifier.

I still need to dip the silver parts on the bumpers and the rails up top on the roof.

I traded up from a '01 TL with 295k miles on it; love riding high in the 4Runner

Tires are P265/70R17 Goodyear Duratracs. Yes, everything else is OEM. It's a lease. For now LOL.

Thanks for the info Man!

You'll have to repost on how well it lasts. Did you do any special prep to the surface of the wheels? I have read that the plasti dip doesn't do so well in the snow belt states where they use a lot of salt on the roads. Would love to know how it goes for you in the long run.

What kind of MPG's are you getting with a setup like that? Taller tires and a V8 and all that.......

Just curious.

I have read rumors Toy might bring back the V8 for the Runner iin 2016.....

Not that I need it but if you can pull the same MPGs as a 6 then hey, it's there if you need it. The extra that is.
