I've been lurking for a while I found this site right after I bought my 90 runner. When I bought my runner the quarter panels were rusted out pretty bad along with a door. I repaired all the rust did all the body work then painted it Blacked out the lights new tires and rims
Well besides the engine problem its looking very nice.
Well just saying hi and I hope the Toyota will treat me as well as my jeeps always have

My problem with showing pics of the process of the body work is I've only taken one pic of it since i have owned it and I had my rims and tires on it and the bidy was all in primer

Post picture's of the truck atleast. Any plan's for it?

If i can figure out how to post a pic from ny cell phone I will take a pic of it once i get it back from the mechanic.
My plans for the truck it a sas swap I have the axle and had half the money for it but I had to pay that to the mechanic (there goes $1400)
I want it to be as capable as the jeep was but still be able to run the easy trails with my family and carry the camping gear.
I couldn't do that with the jeep but it was a good rock crawler

Hi to All, from Nevada

I have a 1985 toyota 4 runner. The way it is set up is a DOA 22RE motor with a Thorley header and flowmaster #40.And cold air intake. 3" skyjacker lift 15x8 outlaw II's and 31x10.50x15 Toyo M.T.'s. 4:56 gears with a sparton locker in the rear.Front smitty built bumper and a marlin crawler one in the back. Trail gear rock sliders. A 14 gallon tank where the spare tire go's for a total of 28 Gallon's.And between 550-600 driving range.I will be going to 32's in maybe the BFG KM2's or Pro-Comp M.T.'s.when my toyo's wear out. I've also had an 86 and a 99 4-Runners.
