New Member from Olympia, WA

I've been lurking and browsing this website for a few months now. Finally decided to actually register and become a member since I bought myself a beautiful 2002 4Runner a few weeks ago Haven't done anything to it except remove the running boards, and I got some new BFGoodrich 265/75 All terrrains on the way.
My to-do list includes the Tundra brake upgrade, and a 3 inch lift. I'll probably post some pics up later. I'm excited to learn a lot from this community, it seems like a good group of people here willing to help eachother out. I'm glad to be a part of it.

Currently in Afghanistan, but live right up the road in Dupont. Toyota of Olympia is a pretty great dealership. I get all my oil changes and stuff there on both mine and my wife's vehicles. Bring your own filter/oil and it's like $20 out the door; they usually give you some pretty handy coupons too. (Got one for a trans flush last year... Dropped the price to like $100)

I saw you posted in the Seattle Area thread. Not many folks down as far south as us, but if you're willing to head north a bit, you'll probably be able to get some help. If you cannot get any help, the Tunda brakes are one of the easiest mods I have done... 12 lug nuts, 4 bolts, 2 brake lines, and a wife/girlfriend/boyfriend/husband/friend the step on the brake pedal as you bleed them.

Yeah im new too... lol I am in the process of finding a 4runner right now. I live in Puyallup thanx for the heads up on the toyota dealership, when i pick mine up maybe ill head by there

I hope the brake upgrade is as easy as you say it is. I am pretty much a complete noob when it comes to working on vehicles. I'll do some more research on it to get a better understanding before I really commit to doing it.
