New Member From Saint Louis (But Not A 4Runner Owner-Yet)

Just a quick intro from a potential owner. I've owned several Toyo products over the years; Corolla S, MR2, Supra, and the last product, a '92 4Runner.

I've been away from the "family" for quite a while, owning vehicles from Ford, Nissan, Lexus, Audi, Mazda, Land Rover, and Jeep. If only I had all the money I've spent on vehicles over the years. . .

I'm thinking about a 4Runner Trail Premium to replace my 2014 Cherokee Trailhawk. Nothing major driving this, just niggles about long-term ownership. Front rotors replaced after 4000 miles, and they were modulating when I purchased the vehicle with 200 miles on it. I'm retiring next month, and want a vehicle that will last 10 years or more with relatively minor repair investments. I know the 4Runner will get me there, but I'm not convinced the Jeep will.

What year was your mr2? I had an '89 that I drove the $h!t out of! Sold it a year ago with 330,000 on it and still see it racing around town ever once in a while!

My mr2 was an early '80s MY. . .don't recall the specific year. 330K miles is insane!

I pulled the trigger yesterday on a new TE in silver. Was looking for a TEP with KDSS, but my dealer couldn't locate one. I decided I really didn't need the premium options, and if I end up thinking that I'm missing something without KDSS, I'll do something with the suspension.

I'm glad to be back in the Toyota family!
