Im new to this site but not to Toyotas. This is my 1st 4Runner but the 4th Toyota Ive owned. I just picked up a 2010 Blizzard Pearl 4x4 and I also have a 2006 Tacoma 4x4 with a few things done to it. :D

Cool trucks! Welcome to the forums. Lots of good info here for the 4Runner. Also, as I'm sure you know, there are quite a few things here that carry over to your Taco too.

I have zero plans for the new runner for the next five years. This is my wife's car until then. Were expecting a child soon so it cant get a lift for awhile.

The Tacoma is the toy anyway.

Also in TX

I am in Leander. 1st time 4runner owner. Good looking vehicles guys. Too bad mine is 2WD. It is actually for my wife. I will get something for myself. Just haven't decided what.
 
I have to be honest. I am not liking the 2010 much. I have wanted a 4Runner since the 90's. When I bought this one, I was in a class in Houston and parked next to a 2010 the entire time I was at the hotel. I knew he wouldn't put any dings on my doors!!!

Anyways, the interior reminded me of the FJ. Which is nice, but I just wondered why they did that. Of course, the more I see the 2010, the more it is growing on me.

As for what to get myself, I will get a two door car. The kids are getting older now, and I FEEL I need something fast again! :bravo:
 
psshht who needs speed when you can piss people off when they're stuck in traffic and you're 4wheelin it passed all the traffic. :D ....guilty as charged... on 1604 stuck in traffic, it's all plains next to the highway, so I kick it into 4wheel...

Ahhhh...good ol'e 1604 traffic. I grew up in SA and know it well.
I am having some regrets that I didn't get 4WD, but again, it's for my wife. I was thinking a Subaru WRX STI or a Lotus Exige. That's apple and oranges compared to the 4runner. The Exige does 0-60 in 4.3 with a supercharged 4 cylinder and gets 29MPG! Sounds like a good time to me.

You know bout the 3-4 new lights between Potranco and Bandera? LOL traffic is a biznatch to get through now..

meh, I still stick with my runner.. I'ma put a diesel into it anyways so mileage won't matter. :flipoff:
