I had an 04 V6 Stratosphere Mica that I traded and now I have an 06 SR5 2WD V8 Nautical Blue.

I like the updated features of the 06 especially the audio jack for MP3 players.

I would like to know if it is possible to upgrade to the limited instrument cluster. I like the illuminated needles. I bet the 07 SR5 will come standard with this option.

Given enough time and money, almost anything is possible. Not aware of anyone offhand that's done this, so I might suggest you search Partznet to see if they have the cluster.
 
They updated the instrument cluster on all models for 2006 so I doubt the 2007 SR5 will have that. It will probably have some other feature that you wished you had though! :D
 
Toyota might switch over to electroluminescent gauges, but I think the Limited gauge cluster will probably remain exclusive to that trim. I doubt it though, like Mark86 said, if the changes were planned, it'd probably happened for the '06.

In looking through the forum I notice that the earlier Intake manifold runners on the V8 such as the 2003 models are made out of aluminum. I wonder why they are now made out of plastic. Is this one of the features that make the newer V8 have more horsepower?
