Hello all. First time posting here. My wife and I just purchased a 99 SR5 4Runner about 2 weeks ago and all I can say is "Why did I wait so long get one!!!!" We always thought these trucks looked awesome. We got it with 60,000 miles for $10k. I love the way it rides and is very spacious. We traded in an 02 Nissan Altima. So far I have added an amp and rockford fosgate box to the oem cd/tape deck. Our next purchases will be 31X10.5 Yokohamas (the current 30X9.5 Mich LTXs have broken belts in all tires, kinda makes a rumble noise going down the street) and a bug deflector shield. Then some oem floor mats, none came with the truck. I also want to maybe check out some plugs and wires for it and possibly an open air intake system. Then just make a complete list of "to dos" as far as maintenance issues. But I will be surfing and researching what are the best products out there for the 4runner. Theres nothing wrong with it but I would like to keep it that way so preventative maintenance is the key.
I am a bit of a wrench turner so getting dirty under the hood does not scare me. 95% of the maintenance will be done by me with help, of course, from this forum.
Well, thanks for letting me join and hope to learn as much as contribute to the forum.

Thanks,
Steve

Also, sorry about the double post. I don't know why it did that.
Not to worry, that is why we have moderators. I'll delete one. You can delete your own post by clicking the "edit" button and then on top of the edit post is a "delete" button which you have to hit on the left and right. Note of caution, if you start a thread and you delete the first post, the whole thread will be gone.

I love your pictures especially the one where you are standing on top of your rig. Also good shots of your other vehicles and your Mrs. or grilfriend.

60,000 miles is really low mileage for a 99, it looks like a good find.
