Heya ... looking to get into off roading more with my 04 4runner SR5 4WD .. went out this weekend and had some fun.. got stuck once.. realized i need to raise it up a bit... looking for some inputs on what to do.. anyone? here is a pic

Welcome. I saw you over on 120 as well. Good community on both forums.

For your lift, how much are you looking to spend? Is this a daily driver? Mild or hard offroading?

Cheapest route are spacers. Next is OME, and then you get into Coilovers which get expensive.

Yes this is a daily driver, not sure how much i want to spend.. looking more for how much it would be.. and what would be the best options..Im thinking about maybe a 3 inch lift and some 33s on it would be nice...

You can get 3" with spacers which will run you around $280 + install.

OME= $600-$800 + install

Coilovers will run you about double what OME will cost

You can achieve 3" with all of the above mentioned, it's just a matter of budget.

OME is a full suspension replacement. Spacers just go on top of the coil assembly. Spacers are fine for a daily driver, but OME is better for a more serious suspension.

OME is a specific brand, not a type of lift. It stands for Old Man Emu.

True, I'll rock a bit more.

Assuming yours is a V6, since I see no V8 on your grille, you will need 884 coils and N140S shocks for the front. For the rear, you will need 895 coils and N141 shocks.

This will net a tiny bit over 3" in front, and a tiny bit over 2" in back. (Lifts often add more in the front to help get rid of some of the stock rake, which makes it look "nose down")

Depends what you go with. With 3" of lift, you can go with 33" tires if you get a set of wheel spacers (SpiderTrax) which are only $200 for all 4-at $99 per pair.

You will have to figure out a spare situation though, as a 33" will not fit in the stock spare location. 265/70/17 is a popular size. Good upgrade from the stock 265/65/17's, and will fit fine in the stock spare location. I'd go with either Nitto Terra Grapplers, or BFG AT KO's.

I could always toss the spare tire on top with the roof rack.
