Hi all, I just picked up my first 4runner. Its an 88 with 160000+ miles on it and runs great, and everything works!!!!! But I do need a few parts.......front turn signals, and the center counsil switches and relay. (Relay for the rear window) it was wired up and I accidently bumped the switch and it melted the relay!!!!! That's about all that the runner needs. The body has a few dents and dings, but for an 88 its not that bad. I was totaly blown away how well it drove and even more the gas mileage I got with it,(has the 3.0 motor and an auto trans) drove 127 miles to home and only used a 1/4 tank!!!!!!!!! That's better then my 08 chevy equinox!

Welcome! Sounds like good low mileage on that '88. Is that gas mileage really accurate?! I filled my 3VZE up on Tuesday and am sitting at 1/8 tank and 215 miles already? If sp then good for you! These things usually do about 13-15 mpg with this motor.

Well I can't post pics!!!! I use my cell phone for the net and it tells me uploads dissabled. But its not really an eye catcher!! Has some dents n dings but very minimal rust!!!!! Even the bed is rust free! Like I mentioned I do need a cpl things for it.........the relay for the rear window and switch, and both front turn signals!!! The 4x4 works sweet, goes threw the back 40 (snow,mud, even deep loader tracks) without even workin up a sweat!!!!!!
