New member in Florida

After several weeks of looking, I bought a metallic blue 2005 4Runner SR5 4WD, 6 cyl. It's a one owner, garage kept, super clean vehicle with 65k miles. I've had 4wd vehicles my whole life and can not find any evidence that it has ever left the pavement (could be good and bad). I had a '87 Toyota 4x4 p/u about 20 years ago so the 4Runner is comfortably familiar.

The mods started the first day with the removal of the pinstripes and dealer's logo. Next was a new air filter, floor mats and a complete cleaning. Today I had the windows tinted 15% in the back and 5% on the front 2. The dark tint makes this color look great and helps down here in the sunshine state.

Over the next few weeks I'll change the diffs and xfer case, grease everything and check the plugs and tranny fluid. The brakes and tires are new and everything works so far. In a few months, I'll lift it and put some BFG ATs on it. I can't wait to get it off-road and see what it can do.

What is the correct name for this color? It looks dark gray at night but you can really see the blue in the sun. I also noticed the sticker from the last oil change says 5W-20. I don't know if they wrote it wrong or put the wrong oil in. The worst part is that it was changed at the Toyota dealership.

Thanks for the welcomes; I like this forum. So the fluid changes went well and everything looked good underneath. I found a small oil leak up front by the timing chain cover. I've read its a known issue and will have it fixed next week under my 90 day warranty. The spark plugs looked good and were changed to Denso platinums by the previous owner. I also greased the 6 fittings on the driveshafts.

Anything else I should be looking for?

looks good man. I love 5% tint. I have a black 4runner with just factory tint in the rear. I'm looking for someone to tint 5% all the way around. It just looks slick.

Thanks Johnny. Most of the idependent tint shops will put anything you want on there if you're ok with no receipt.
It's headed to the dealership to get the timing cover leak fixed tomorrow. Luckily, it's covered under the warranty from the place I bought it.

They tore it down today to fix the timing cover leak. Apparently it's pretty involved because they had to keep it overnight. I've never been to this dealership... I hope they do good work.
