New member, looking at an 01

New member here but I've owed Toyota's in the past and been very happy with the reliability. Looking at an 01 Limited 4x4 with 102K on the clock. Owner wants 11,300 but I'm wondering what everyone here would offer up? Hopefully I'll be a long time 4runner owner in a week or so.

I think that his asking price is a good starting point, but wouldn't pay that. Depending on the condition of the vehicle, I would offer 10,000 or maybe 10,500. Any damage, rust, or dirty interior would just bring that down. Check maintenance records too, has it had the timing belt/water pump done? that's due at 90K and costs like $600.
What color is it?

Sounds good and thanks for the info Ripcord. I'm in NC and the truck has always been here and the seller is the 2nd owner. The TC and pump have not been done so I can use that to get the price down. Most likely original radiator as well. How much of a concern is the milkshake problem? Being in the South I'd bet the truck has little to no rust. I'm a previous Land Rover Discovery owner so I've seen my share of issues. The Milkshake you spoke of in your thread does have me wondering.

Yea it is, just need to buy a new antenna. :cheers:
