new member..need some advice for a lift

hey everybody im a new member and decided to write my first post. i have a 2000 4runner sr5 4x4 which ive had for about a year. im finally getting into the mods. my question is kinda two part. im going to do a 2" lift soon (actually a lil more than 2 since i have a lil sag). i just bought some springs from a guy on craigslist. the springs are 2" JAOS BattleZ front and rear coils. i bought the springs for a great price but the guy didnt have any install directions or anything on the springs and i havent been able to really find anything online about them. i was wondering if any of you knew anything about JAOS springs. i was also wondering what kind of shocks would compliment these springs everybody seems to say bilstein, but ive also been looking at the skyjacker 7000 hydroshocks? (they seem good for the price) just wondering if anyone had any input. i dont do a whole lot of off-roading but im sure ill start doin a little more once i get this 4runner trail ready. i also am going to install 1" front daystar spacers to level the front out and also a diff drop. well thanks you guys and im sure youll be hearin from me a lil more.

I would go with the bilstiens. They are a really good shock. You are adding another spacer in the front on top of your springs? Depending on how your runner sits after your springs are installed, you might be nose up and want to level out the rear. I would put the springs on first and see how it looks. Nice to see another sac area member

yea these are 1" front coil spacers. the guy that i bought the springs from said that the front sat lower than the back and that 1" spacers should level out the vehicle (he also had a 2000 T4R like mine). im hopefully gonna get this lift installed in a couple of weeks or as soon i can purchase some new shocks. im honestly just a lil worried about my CV boots with the lift.it seems like a lot of people have had problems with them after a lift. my car has about 90k on it so i hope it can take it. i hope that the diff drop ill be installing will help out with that. ill def. post some before and after pics of the lift.

I wouldnt worry about it. Its a fairly small lift so you shouldnt have any problems.
