New Member! New Ride!

Hi folks!

First post here. Just picked up my new 4Runner last night. Got a great deal, and a great truck.

SR5 4WD V6 in Driftwood Pearl
Moonroof and Tow package. I absolutely love it!

I hate the OEM tires though. Considering an upgrade to Bridgestone Dueler REVO's ? If anybody is using them on their 4Runner, let me know how they are working out.

The 4runner is a truck??? Can't be - the ride is too good and it is too reliable. This vehicle is just a big car (that can scale mountains). Best vehicular purchase I've made. The C6 Corvette partner is not seeing much use these days.

This sounds great! I have a Firestone shop just up the road. Does the offer include Bridgestone tires as well? (if you know, they are the same company of course). Only 170 miles so far, tires are perfect.

I am also considering Dueler APT tires. I just got some for my '97 Mazda p-up (Ranger) and they are the best tires I have put on it. In a huge, freak rainstorm the other night, they made a huge difference from anything I've used before. Better, worse or same as Revo's in anyones opinion?

I suppose I would take either, but want better tires for a good price. Just spent my wad getting the truck, and a little cash poor right now.

One more question for folks out there. If i upgrade to a 265/75-16 (1 extra inch) will I see any problems with rubbing or with the spare fitting?
